About Larch Veterinary Services
Our Mission
Larch Veterinary Services is committed to improving the health and welfare of the horse and in-turn improving the well-being of the community that we live in. We aim to practice medicine that is compassionate, evidence based, and skillfully executed.
About Us
Larch Veterinary Services is an ambulatory practice serving the North Okanagan, providing comprehensive and practical care.
We offer a full range of equine services, from preventative care, dentistry, and general medicine to advanced diagnostics and treatment. This includes lameness evaluations, radiology and ultrasonography, joint and soft tissue therapies, podiatry, rehabilitation support, and pre-purchase examinations. We also provide surgical procedures and emergency care, as well as thoughtful management of senior horses.
In addition to equine care, we offer limited wellness services for small animals and compassionate, at-home euthanasia.
For small animal emergencies or illness, we recommend contacting Tri Lake Animal Hospital in Lake Country, Fairfield Animal Hospital in Kelowna, or Phases Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Kamloops.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We live and work on the unceded territory of the Sylix People of the Okanagan Nation and the Secwepemcúl’ecw People.
Although the TRC’s Calls to Action don’t specifically address veterinarians, we believe that our profession has an important role to play in reconciliation through our interactions with animal owners and as members of our community.
